CHOCOLATE CARE

All our products are made with the freshest ingredients in small batches. Because of this, our boxed chocolates do not have the same shelf life as store bought chocolate. Volcanic Chocolate boxed chocolates are best eaten earlier rather than later, however will last up to 5 weeks from the date of production. Our chocolate bars have a shelf life of up to 12 months from the date of production.

Our chocolates should be stored in a cool dry place between 16-20°C out of direct sunlight.  Avoid storing the chocolates in the fridge as they may begin to grow white spots (sugar bloom).  If this happens the chocolate is still safe to eat – it will just effect the look of the chocolates.

Chocolate does not like to be exposed to light so when not in use, we recommend to keep the box closed.
